When it comes to make up its all about attitude. While red lips are an evergreen classic, make-up artistes suggest that using a combination of colours and textures could also help one achieve the right image.
If your make up is subtle it is fine but if you are looking to make a sort of fashion statement or even just show off some attitude, then you need to pick that one feature with which you can go all out,” says Shweta Shah-Anand, a make-up artiste and trainer. The eyes are always a hot favourite for this trend and experts advise that one can try from a range of options right from the smokey eye effect to winged eyes to make an impression.
“But if you prefer a subtler palette, then go in for what’s called ‘disco make-up’ which is mixing softer colours like blue and pink, lilac and blue with a dash of metallic hues to create an unusual effect. Always remember, that the main colour you use should match your skin tone and the rest of the make-up you wear,” Shweta adds.
