On 31 July Adi Velli will be celebrated in a grand manner for Sri Matha Bhuvaneswari at Chennai Om Sri Skandasramam, Selaiyur. There will be a special abhishegam at 10 am to goddess Sri Matha Bhuvaneswari followed by special alankaram at 5. 30 pm. A special navavarna pooja to Sri Chakra Purna Maha Meru will be performed at 6 pm. Maha pradosham will be performed grandly for Lord Sri Maha Sahasralingamurthy and Lord Nandikeswarar at 5.30 pm followed by abhishegam and alankaram on 3rd August. On account of full moon there will be special abhishekam to goddess Matha Bhuvaneswari and Lord Dattatreyar at 10.30 am, followed by alankaram and annadanam at 12.30 pm on 5th August. On 7 August being the first Friday of the English month there will a special thiruvillaku pooja at 5.30 pm.
