Malayalam film Vairam in which Pasupathy has acted is doing well at the box office. The film is directed by Nishad. While speaking about this in Trivandrum to the media, he said,” This is the second film for me in Malayalam. Earlier I had acted in a small role with Mammooty in Big B. Since I liked the character I agreed for this film. Initially I was sacred because I had to speak in Malayalam. Since I am donning the role of a Tamilian I escaped. The story begins in Pollachi and ends up in Kerala. I have also spoken Tamil Nadu Malayalam in this film. I don’t know how far this will be good. I am getting good offers in Tamil and Telugu films I am getting good characters in Malayalam film. Though my salary is less I am willing to act in these good characters. I am not a star but I am an actor. I don’t want star status, it iis enough if my character is spoken of,”
