‘Ultra modern logistics park launched'

Safexpress private limited, country`s largest supply chain and logistics company, is in the process of investing Rs 600 crores as part of widening its warehousing infrastructure across the country. One third of this investment would be made in southern regions, Vineet Kanaujia, General Manager (Marketing), Safexpress private limited, said after inaugurating a Rs 25 crore Safexpress Logistics park at Uruvayar near here toay. The company has a plan to launch 32 logistics parks in the next two years across the country and already eight such parks had been set up and after covering areas like Gurgaon, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and NCR the company had set up the logistics parks in Chennai, Salem and Puducherry.The parks in Chennai, Salem and in Puducherry had been set up with a total investment of Rs 85 crores, he said. - Agencies.
